MGVA is proud to continue to expand our league and continue to honor our mission to foster & coordinate recreational & competitive volleyball to all persons who wish to play, while promoting a safe & positive environment for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender communities and their allies. CAPACITY: 16 teams + 14 individual sign-ups. First come, first served basis. DURATION OF LEAGUE: Sunday, October 15th, to Sunday, December 17th. Week 1-8: League play Week 9: Tournament DAY/TIME: Every Sunday, times vary for each division. Division starting blocks will primarily stay the same throughout the season. Match start times will run from 4PM, continuing on the hour, with the last matches beginning at 8PM. LOCATION: Beulah Brinton Community Center 2555 S. Bay Street, Milwaukee, WI 53207 and St. Anthony High School 4807 S 2nd St, Milwaukee, WI 53207 DIVISIONS OFFERED: To uphold our mission to continue the growth of the sport and our league, the MGVA BOARD will be placing Individuals/Teams into their respective level. You will select a self-rating for you and/or your team, which MGVA will use to help allocate teams into the appropriate division: B - Beginners and developing players B+ - Experienced Intermediate BB/A - Advanced LEAGUE COST: Team of 6-7 Players: $275 Team of 8 Players: $290 Individual: $50 If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any Board member or email us at: mgvamembership@gmail.com
